Berkshire Victorian Terrace – reconfiguration, bespoke joinery designs and redecoration

Built in the late 19th century this Victorian terraced house required reconfiguration and redecoration of the ground floor including a substantial wrap around extension, and alterations of flooring and ceiling heights. The existing sitting room was also converted into a music teaching room. We ran the project from first surveys, through planning permission to successful completion of the building work.

I created tailor-made storage for both the music room and hallway by designing bespoke bookshelves for the music room and adapting and upgrading existing units in the hallway. I also oversaw interior redecoration throughout including details such as a bespoke design for the hallway floor tiles.

“We have loved working with Philip. He has both honed in on our style and the
kinds of things we love at the same time as giving us fresh ideas and suggestions.”
