Chelsea Flat (2)
Our clients wanted to complete refurbish a recently inherited Chelsea garden flat which formed the ground-floor of a late-Victorian town house. The challenge was to make sense of the rear of the property which had too many small rooms whilst the valuable outside space was not being used to its full potential.
Our solution was to reconfigure the sitting room and kitchen and to replace them with a light-filled, double-glazed Crittall-style windowed extension, providing a flexible living and entertaining space with generous French doors leading onto a beautiful courtyard garden.
The flat needed to be reshaped to meet both the functional needs and aesthetic aspirations of our clients; we have designed a fantastic new kitchen, replaced the bathrooms and floors, completely redecorated and layered in a mixture of vintage furnishings to compliment the spirit of the building and reflect the personality of our clients.

“We have loved working with Philip. He has both honed in on our style and the
kinds of things we love at the same time as giving us fresh ideas and suggestions.”
